Ervin and Audrey Fuerdi of Casa de Fiestas in South Texas has become the place for beautiful weddings, anniversaries, quinceañeras, and other events.
The building used to belong to Ervin’s manufacturing business, but after he decided to close it down the couple went to the city planner in La Feria to learn what the city needed. They nudged them into opening an event center and they decided to go with it. Now the venue is so popular that some families have held five life events in their facility. They have facilitated hundreds of weddings.
People around the world have come to have their event in their Spanish Colonial-style venue. While numbers have been down, demand continues for the facility, which is open on weekends. They also offer catering services.
